A THIRD LEVEL SCHOOL AT YWAM MONTANA
Course Description.
This 16-week course is centered on the practical teaching of scripture not simply educational theory and teaching techniques.
After twelve weeks of classroom and practice teachings, there is a four week internship with a local church. In this internship the student will be given opportunities to practice teaching and preaching in a local church environment under the mentorship of a local pastor. Then after completing the lecture phase you will have the option to plan your own cross cultural outreach that will further equip you for teaching and preaching in almost any environment God may call you to serve.

Lecture.
Some of the topics we will cover include, basic public speaking and communication skills, the lifestyle and character of a teacher, expository preaching, topical preaching, evangelistic preaching, teaching and preaching to children and youth,engaging the current culture and understanding world view, learning styles, using technology in teaching and preaching, cross-cultural teaching and preaching, small group teaching, methodical Biblical teaching, and teaching oral communicators.

The goal of the Biblical Teaching and Preaching School is to equip you to communicate the truth of the Bible in a wide variety of circumstances. You will learn to teach and preach to audiences of any age, culture, and educational background.

Burnett, WisconsinOnline SBS / Bible TeacherTom Possin is from Burnett, Wisconsin and has been on staff with YWAM Lakeside for 29 years. During his tenure with YWAM he has been the facilities manager, the accounting manager, the operations manager, 7 years as SBS staff, and an additional 7 years as the SBS school leader. For the past 5 years Tom has been working with the Online SBS and teaches in many schools in YWAM. Tom is also a musician, a woodworker and a computer programmer. He is proud of his 4 sons and his 5 grandchildren.
